2012: Debut, Russian Roulette, and Painkiller

On January 31, 2012, B2M Entertainment official announced that the group would have their formal debut with a mini-album, titled Russian Roulette. A music video teaser for "Russian Roulette" was released the following day. The full-length music video was released on February 7, 2012. Promotions for "Russian Roulette" began two days later on M! Countdown. The lyrics of the song were later modified in order to meet MBC's broadcasting standards.
The group released a repackaged EP titled Painkiller, on March 29, 2012, promoting the title track of the same name.

2011: Debut & Longer
Prior to their debut, CHI CHI held a showcase to promote the release of their single "장난치지마" ("Don't Play Around") on March 18th. At the event they performed in front of news reporters as well as partaking in their first press conference MC'd by actress and label-mate Hong Soo Ah. The group's MV was released on March 18, 2011 co-starring actor Lee Jong Suk of Secret Garden. CHI CHI then made their television debut on SBS's Inkigayo on March 20, 2011.
After several performances, the members begin receiving several requests from producers to appear on variety shows.[4] They have also been featured in the wildly popular dance game "Audition Online".
CHI CHI revealed in an interview for plans to return with a new single in May.[6] Since then, plans were delayed and now have set their comeback for a July date.[7] They have also gained an endorsement deal with “Yoheim Smoothie”.
The single titled "Longer" was released on July 21. The single features 3 different versions of the title track. The MV was also released on the same date. The song peaked at #66 on the Gaon's weekly digital chart.[10]
CHI CHI made their foray into reality television with ETN's "Hot Shot" (a reality series featuring rookie idols). "Hot Shot" showcases behind the scene episodes revolving around CHI CHI and their daily ventures. The first episode premiered on August 12th. Rookie boyband HITT also made a guest appearance on the show.
Reflexjun, choreographer of Yedang entertainment, revealed on twitter that CHI CHI could possibly comeback with an album next year. On November 23 of 2011, Yedang company announced CHI CHI's participation in Yedang company's first overseas concert in Asia & America. CHI CHI has also appeared on Japanese television programs such as "Star VJ Show" and "K-POP IDOL Toryumon".
2012: Line-up Change, Japanese Debut
On December 12, 2011, it was revealed that Nara, Peach, and Ji-U were no longer members of CHI CHI and that a replacement member, Shine, was added. Sui became CHI CHI's new leader due to the departure of their original leader, Nara. CHI CHI will be debuting in Japan with their debut single, "からかわないで!!" ("Don't Play Around") which is the Japanese version of their debut single in Korea, "장난치지마" and is set to be released on April 25th through Japanese record label Tokuma Japan Communications. CHI CHI will be holding showcases called "Shibuya CHI-CHI Festival" in Japan every month until their official debut single release. CHI-CHI's first Japanese single, "からかわないで!!" debuted at #39 at the Oricon daily chart. The current peak for the single reached #25 on the Oricon daily chart.
Trophy Entertainment revealed that this summer, CHI-CHI will be releasing their new album in Korea.
Davichi (Korean: 다비치) is a South Korean duet female group made up of Lee Hae-ri (이해리) and Kang Min-kyung (강민경, 姜珉耿). Davichi is derived from the Korean word "Dabichi" meaning the light to shine over the world. Debuting in 2008, they won various new artist awards, and released a mini-album in March 2009, with the lead single "8282" fast becoming a chart-topper. In September 2011, Davichi's song "Don't Say Goodbye" from their new mini-album "Love Delight" peaked at number one on the Korean K-Pop Hot 100 billboard chart.
Dal Shabet is a South Korean girl group created by E-Tribe through their label Happy Face Entertainment. The members include Viki (Leader), Serri, Ah Young, Jiyul, GaEun and Subin (Maknae). On March 15, 2011, 'Darling' was selected as Dal Shabet's fanclub name. The group won the 'Best Newcomer Artist' award at the 26th Golden Disk Awards on January 11, 2012.
Career
Pre Debut
During the latter half of 2010, rumors began to circulate through Korean media sites that E-Tribe, the producers behind breakthrough hits such as Girls' Generation's "Gee" and Lee Hyori's "U-Go-Girl", were planning to launch a new girl group. The producers quickly denied the rumors and said they were untrue. On December 9, 2010, E-Tribe's small-label company called "Happy Face Entertainment" announced that they would be launching a six-member girl group named Dal Shabet. Profiles of the group members were revealed on December 29, 2010, as well as their January 3, 2011 debut date.
2011: Debut, Pink Rocket & Bling Bling
On January 3, 2011, Dal Shabet released their debut music video, "Supa Dupa Diva", making them the first idol group to debut in 2011. Promotions for "Supa Dupa Diva" began on January 6, 2011, on M! Countdown. The song proved to be quite successful as it topped many real time and music station charts for the majority of its promotional period. Promotions for "Supa Dupa Diva" ended on March 14, 2011, but it was revealed that the group would be holding their first comeback in April. "Supa Dupa Diva" was later voted upon by various celebrities in a survey and was crowned as the second most addicting song of 2011, as well as having the second most popular choreography.
On April 5, 2011, concept photos for Dal Shabet's first comeback track "Pink Rocket" were revealed. The concept, dubbed 'rocket girls', showed a more elegant and feminine side to the group. On April 13, 2011, the full-length music video to "Pink Rocket" was released. Promotions for "Pink Rocket" began the following day on M! Countdown. Promotions for "Pink Rocket" ended on May 30, 2011, but the group assured fans that they would be releasing another album in early August.
On August 2, 2011, it was announced that Dal Shabet would be making a 'funky' comeback.[10] During the entire first week of August, concept photos for each member were released. The outfits in the concept photos were quickly met with controversy and were deemed 'too sexual' for live television, causing a complete overhaul of the concept. On August 10, 2011, Dal Shabet unleashed their music video to "Bling Bling". Promotions for "Bling Bling" began on August 12, 2011, on Music Bank. The song proved to be their most successful yet, as it managed to break the Gaon Chart's 'Top Ten'. Promotions for "Bling Bling" officially ended on November 6, 2011, but fans were assured the group would quickly return to the stage.
2012: "Hit U"
On January 8, 2012, it was revealed that the members of Dal Shabet would be undergoing a dramatic and powerful transformation for their fourth mini-album. On January 17, 2012, a dramatic music video teaser for "Hit U" was released. Promotions for "Hit U" began on January 26, 2012, on M! Countdown. The full-length music video and mini-album were digitally and physically released the following day. The album went on to top the physical portion of Gaon Chart, securing Dal Shabet's first number one album. Promotions for "Hit U" ended on March 16, 2012, but the group confirmed they will be returning to the music scene in June.
A Pink (Korean: 에이핑크) is a seven-member South Korean girl group under A Cube Entertainment formed in 2011. The group consists of Park Chorong, Yoon Bomi, Jung Eunji, Son Naeun, Hong Yookyung, Kim Namjoo and Oh Hayoung.
The group has released two Korean mini-albums and one full album. They debuted on April 21, 2011, on M! Countdown with the EP Seven Springs of A Pink. A Pink were awarded the Best New Female Artist award at the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
2012: Comeback
On January 5, 2012 A Pink won their very first music show award on M! Countdown for "My My".
On March 13, 2012, A Pink's Eunji and Beast's Yoseob released the music video for their duet song "Love Day".[10] The single for it, "‘A CUBE’ For Season # Green", was released the next day.[11] Eunji and Yoseob performed the song on the April 7th episode of MBC Show! Music Core.
On March 21, 2012, A Pink made their Canadian debut at the Kool Haus in Toronto. They performed to about 1,000-1,600 fans.
On April 19, 2012, A Pink released a very special single as a gift for their fans to celebrate their one year anniversary. The girls have returned to their fans with a track titled “April 19th“, the date of their debut one year ago. A Pink believes that they wouldn’t be where they are now if not for the love and support of their loyal fans. This is a way for them to give back to the fans and this new ballad is also a perfect melody for the Spring season. The track was composed by Kim Jin Hwan, and the lyrics were personally penned by A Pink leader Park Chorong. The fresh pop-ballad highlights the girls’ developed vocal talent, and the modernized harmony and dynamic chorus further adds charm to the song.
A Pink made their comeback with their first official album "Une Annee" on May 9th. The album contained 9 songs; "Une Annee", an intro song narrated by G.NA, "Hush", the title song, "고양이" (Cat), "4월 19일" (April 19th), "Bubibu", "Step", "I Got You", "하늘높이" (Up In The Sky, com a participação de Yong Jun-hyung, do Beast, que foi creditado como Joker) e "Boy".
Nine Muses is a nine-membered South Koreangirl group under the Star Empire Entertainment music label. The group made their official debut in August 2010 with the single "No Playboy" as well as the release of their first mini album, Let's Have A Party. The group originally had nine members until Jaekyung left the group to be a model. Hyuna was then added to the group in late 2010; Rana and Bini left the group in 2011 to pursue individual activities; and Nine Muses added their eighth member, Kyungri, in 2012.
2012: New members and Sweet Rendezvous
Nine Muses introduced their new eighth member, Kyungri, at the groups's performance in Abu Dhabi, UAE. They revealed concept photos for their second single "News", featuring all 8 members, on January 1, 2012. Nine Muses released the music video for "News" on January 10, with the single release a day later on January 11, 2012. The song was produced by Sweetune, who was also behind their "Figaro" single. The song received a good response and had garnered a larger fan base for Nine Muses.
On February 20, Star Empire Entertainment announced that the group will make their comeback in March with a new track due to the good response. On March 6, a teaser video for "Ticket" from their Sweet Rendezvous mini album was released. The music video for "Ticket" was released on March 8. On April 6, Sera hinted that the group is working on their next comeback song through an Arirang interview and that Nine Muses added their ninth and final member, Son Sungah.
